Studio Pet Portraits Sessions
Dogs & Cats...furry, feathered, scaled or finned...regardless of the type our pets are part of our family and should be included in your portraits. All sessions are private and taken in a controlled environment for your pets comfort & safety.
Family & Children Studio Sessions
While I do specialize in pets, that doesn't mean you have to have one in your session! I am happy to create lasting memories for you with or without furry family members. I have taken portraits of infants as young as 3 days old on up! I can always capture a special image for you of your child's birthday, a special holiday or "just because"!
I love the opportunity to work outside of the studio occasionally to capture your family & pet in a natural environment or other special location. I have many unique spots I have found over the years that are favorites to shoot at. If you have a look in mind but not sure where to go, I may be able to suggest a perfect site! Additional creative fee for time & travel will apply to location sessions.
Business Head Shots
Heart Spot can deliver the perfect portrait which is professionally posed, lighted, photographed, and edited so you look your best. Sessions include High Resolution Digital files for use on a business card, website or any additional advertising or marketing materials. Sessions start at $175
Planning a birthday party for your pooch? Need a photo booth for an upcoming event? Looking to have your own "Red Carpet" experience for a non-profit or social event? Heart Spot can help by providing expert photography, professional lighting, backdrops and props to capture every moment.
All sessions are by appointment only and require a consultation visit in studio or in home prior to scheduling. During the consultation we will go into more details about basic pricing & products offered, reason for your session, what to wear & how to prepare for the day. This time also serves as an ice breaker for me to get to know your pets & children without them having to "preform" for the camera.
Creative Fee, Presentation & Products
I love to get creative with your session! Each family is unique and has their own special look. I take time to get to know You, Your Family and Your Pets prior to taking any photos so that uniqueness is what I capture. A nominal creative fee of $100 for in studio sessions covers time for preparation, photography, editing & presentation.
Your images are viewed in the Studio Theater during an interactive sideshow presentation usually a week after the session. Together we create just how your images will be displayed in your home. Products can be purchased either in collections or A la Carte and are created by the highest quality professional labs to ensure you receive the finest archival images you'll be able to enjoy for years to come.
You have a style all your own and whether it's the traditional look of canvas or something more modern like metal or acrylic we can provide it! There are so many options available today for your final printed portraits!
A few of the special products I offer are photographs turned to hand painted canvas prints, custom albums and keepsake sterling silver jewelry charms. If there is something special you are looking for I'm sure Heart Spot can help to create it!

A little about me...I've worked as a photographer since 2000. I'm a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and Georgia Professional Photographers (GPPA). I have always had a love for the arts and have studied Art History, Photography & Graphic Design since 1990. I worked primarily as a infant , child and family portrait photographer from 2001 to 2011. In addition to the arts I have always had a passion for animals, whether they have fur, scales or feathers. In 2012 I began working toward opening my own studio specializing in pet portraiture. To further my understanding and assist in my photography of dogs, I became a certified dog trainer in 2013. A skill which has been very valuable for both myself as well as my clients. I would love the opportunity to work with your family to capture an image you will cherish for years to come.
